      Mastering Attaining Lucidity

I was just wondering if it is actually possible to master lucidity. As in almost every night you are able to lucid dream. So I guess I would say Lucid Dream on command. While on the same topic is it also possible to master dream control? Any responses would be helpful thanks because some day if possible I want to master Lucid Dreaming.

I think it is possible, I read through the 4rum and a number of people claimed to lucid dream when they want to.

I think it's just really all about your strength of will. Once you have a strong will, it's completely possible. All these different lucid dreaming techniques and such are really just ways to convince ourselves we can lucid dream. Laberge's book even has exercises to strengthen your will. o_O

Easily doable. I have reached points where as long as I sleep enough, I lucid dream. As long as I lucid dream, I chain DEILD a few more after.

I was going to write a guide about it, but now I'm reconsidering. Too many people wouldn't do it properly and complain that it doesn't work. Rather, I just post tips all the time.

Yeah It's possible but as eidahl said it's all about strength of will.

I have heard however that some people have taught their subconsciousness to want to lucid dream, thus their own DCs remind them they are dreaming. Although I bet it's extremely hard to do.

Barring "natural talent," my theory is that the most important factor is to have a solid foundation of meditation (several hours a day) along with of course impeccable daily dream journaling, and with that combination pretty much anyone should be able to reach the level you describe. But I guess we'll see...

Maybe not for hours.. as long as you can before bed is usually good enough (30 minutes?). Most beginners can't meditate beyond 10 minutes.

Throw in some awareness and visualization techniques and you hit the nail on the head.
