Thread: Dreaming the future. Is it lucid?

LOL, I'm spoiled rude and paranoid huh? Gee, I guess you would know better than I would. And I had already said, if you asked me any kind of question at all, I didn't understand it. How can you expect a response to a question I did not receive?

On the other hand, you have yet to answer any of the questions I had asked. I guess your spoiled, rude, and paranoid too then right? Or are you just better than me in every way possible?

Oh yeah, if you want me to answer that question you keep talking about, put it in a way I could understand maybe, and I'll give you an answer. And if I don't know it, I'm sure Google, will. Couldn't do the same for me now could you?

Just a note, these sound more like MILD, which would be a type of DILD. If you have a WILD, there's no break in consciousness, so you wouldn't have to think back about how you got to a certain point.

And yeah I was browsing around in those forums, I hadn't seen it until after I had already posted this. I was going to delete it and re-post there, but I can't find a delete thread button.

I wouldn't worry about it. Rewrite the thread a bit, add some content or what have you. You might want to repost #3 separately, though. Most people are going to either zoom in on or get scared off by the precognition bit of this thread, and you won't get much advice that way.

Actually, reading through the topic, it seemed that Philosopher's..."wisdom" is igniting this topic.

EDIT: Oh, lol. I didn't notice that most of this topic was puple and Philosopher going back and forth.

yeah lol. i might add the movie Inception had no influence to me finding this site, but it is a cool movie.

Yeah man, to OP, don't think too much about your dreams relate to future events, especially watery eyes to hurricane Katrina, and the gulf oil spill, I don't see them relate in anyway except for the water part (really??). U deleted the part about meeting your friend so I don't know what to judge man. And don't gather a weird cult pl0x.

I should have clicked off the page... but since I have taken time following it I would rather share my thought

1) I definitely belive there may be something to the psychic dreams, I've had some that were both dead on accurate down to small details and immediate. I would not consider them lucid.
2) I'm afraid I dont have any input on this, I can't say its happened to me. Most of the time for me lucid dreams begin during the most frightening part of the dream, the increased heartrate prolly wakes me up a bit, so generally the dream ends prior to me being able to lose control. Sorry,
3) I dont have a dream guide or anything of that nature. I would be very careful if or when you meet them however. As someone who has had experiences with daemons or otherwise extremely negative spirits I would be wary of inviting or searching out anything of the like within a dream.

Not meaning to pick on you but that reminds of me of Obi-Wan in ep. IV... it could be a sense of whats going to happen, I've never had anything like that prior to an event but I've had similar experiences as they happenned. There is the possibility that you're a latent psychic, the possibility of a surge in your intuition, or merely an outbreak of fear caused by the universal human consciousness. On the other hand it may have been a way for your body to release pent up stress, anger, sorrow and it needed to be released then and there for some neurological reason.

I don't believe every theory/belief I just listed for reasons, but ive named them so you can decide for yourself.

Oh yeah, I don't see correlation really in that either, honestly I don't think I can just pick up on those things, it's just something weird that's been happening. The whole watery eyes thing happens in real life too, not in dreams. thanks for sharing your opinion though

Sorry, I don't know what happens in Obi-Wan in ep. IV? And yeah, you know, I haven't been saying I can literally just dream future events, it's just so weird, such exact details, recalling the dream after i wake up. I'll never really know whats going on in my dreams to make me see these things, the only conclusion I can come up with whats happening though is, as crazy as it sounds, seeing a future event, only on the basis of how accurate the dreams are, down to the surrounds, the clothes people wear, the exact words they say, idk, it's just extremely...weird. I've never heard of the term "latent" psychic, i'll have to look that up.

I have been hot on the trail for answers into future dreams. Science seems to be getting very close. It can be explained as gamma signals traveling at the speed of light. These signals get to us before the events because the Earths rotational spin around the sun is much slower than light speed. Our nurons that stimulate response from our brains to our fingers travel at the speed of light as well. This would actually bring alot of reality to the events actually occuring & not being dilussional. There are 2 types of future seeing. One is in Deep delta(about 3 hrs in) I call this precognition. Precognition is timeless because you can dream blocks or even days at a time in only a 20 minute signal. Commonly 4-6 hours of the future.. Then there are determining factors of dismay in comparison to being content with your abilities or the feeling that you get from the end result. If it scares you the dream may not unfold for over a year. If you are ok with the outcome, it can happen in 3-5 days. All these periods in between can be determined on how intooned you are with this frequency & whether you have learned to accept your gift. So the negative results can move up to 3 months later or less. & if it is something you are ok with, then it could happen 2 days later.
Then there is clairevoyance & claireaudience & all the other claires. These are experienced in hypnogogic/hypnopompic states. meaning just after you fall asleep or just before you awake. A perfect example would be hearing your mom's voice call out to you just before you awake, then the phone rings & its her. So clairevoyance is tied to the clock & can only offer flashes. Though clairevoyance is right now & precognition is later. Both serve as a window in time of pre- KNOWING. I had discovered claires from having precognition my whole life, but it is hard to say whether the egg came before the chicken in this manner. Simply because whatever you accept as a conscious expanse first, will be the ability that becomes the strong point of your added perceptional intoonment, which is only obtainable through acceptance of this anomaly, as our reality today encourage you to not believe it is happening. You can only fathom this reality asleep, but claireaudience is the easiest to achieve in a physical consciousness, which can be experienced by hypnotic states self induced. Also daydreaming can trigger claires.
