well im not for sure. But here is my opinion...

You were excited to have a lucid. Your subconscious was focused on recalling and LDing. But now that you have had an LD your subconscious is expecting another one. So unless you have an LD your not going to remember your dreams. To fix this just simply focus on recalling and not LDing untill you have your recall up. Then start back on LDing.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

I found that the night after having a lucid dream, I would see a drop in my recall; possibly because we used a lot of our mental energy the night before.

Never let a drop in recall get you down, its only temporary.

This seems to happen to me too, now that you mention it. When I have a good LD, my recall goes down quite a bit for like a week. I think it's because you just get so excited about the lucid that your brain has a hard time getting interested in regular dreams enough to remember them. Eventually I think I get frustrated enough with not recalling ANY dreams that my recall goes back up.

Ok. I had a little recall last night, so it'll go back up again hopefully. Thanks!
