Talking My first tase of success

First lucid dream!! Woot! This is how it went down:

My alarm went off at exactly 6:01am, and I hit the snooze button and went back to sleep. I found myself on my uncle's front porch as though I had just come out of the house. I walked to the driveway, where my grandma was talking to some unknown projection, and my uncle was looking at this giant pink tissue paper balloon thing in the middle of his driveway. Then I though to myself (and I kid you not, this is exactly what I though) "The milk never manages to make it back into the fridge. That's one of my dreamsigns!" I immediately did a reality check and looked at my hand. It was kind of distorted, as if looking at it through water. Bingo. Almost instantly the dream became incredibly vivid. I looked back up and immediately felt this huge surge of energy. It wasn't excitement, but a powerful rush of a feeling of utter victory and triumph. Then I woke up

The interesting thing was that for several moments after I woke, I still felt tingly, as though the wave of energy I had experienced hadn't quite worn off. The last thing I had seen in the dream (the apartment building across the street from my uncle's house) was burned into my mind. It's all kind of faded now, but I'm freaking excited for tonight!

Congrats! I envy you. I have yet to have any substantial success. But congratulations all the same.

Well done! That sounds very similar to my first one, waking up instantly. Got to get past those first few like that then you stay asleep and it is so amazing.

The key is to relax and not get too excited, thats why you always wake up.

It probably didn't help that I was moments away from waking up for my day anyway
