My 2/3 lucid dream was a false awakening. I "woke up" and noticed several things wrong,

I didnt sleep on my couch
I looked into the kitchen, and i saw my uncle cooking *i live in a trailer, and you can see the kitchen from the living room*
And the stove looked different, sorta curvey..

I immediatly knew I was dreaming.

Here lately ive gotten into the habbit of doing a reality check as soon as I wake up. I make it a number 1 priority.

I didn't take me long at all. As soon as I saw how different my room was I was pretty sure I was dreaming. Then I ran up stairs and saw two Christmas trees in my living room (in May.)

I had one that lasted several min. Everything was the same, there is no way I could tell the difference. I dreamed that i woke up and wet the bed in my friends house and that they came in with pillows hitting me and stuff. I got off the futon bed I was on and it was all wet, but my friends hadn't noticed... I was freaking out, because that would be so embarrasing. Then I closed my eyes, and I jumped up in real life, and the bed felt kind of warm, which freaked me out again... and I checked, everything was dry and i was fine... but damn I was freaking out for the next few min. hoping that this wasn't a dream too...

Seems it can be as realistic as anything, in my dream the only inconsistancy was that the covers were extremely hard to move.

Yeah, the couple of times i've had false awakenings i realised pretty quickly. Got up, wandered around a bit and then realised, to either wake up oor go lucid-crazy. So i guess about 5-10 minutes before realising.
