      Brain tricking me into thinking....

Well, I would like to ask two things. First, I been having alot of lucid dreams lately, NOT completey but i know am dreaming, and when i find out am dreaming, I am like wow dude, this looks so real. (am not fully aware in a lucid dream) And I would like to know how to be FULLY aware in a lucid dream. But anyways, i woke up in a dream, I been getting that ALOT. I have no idea why, then i had a other lucid dream, this one was where i was trying to change the setting of the dream into a city, so i couldn't so i tryed to fly there, it would had been more fun. If it looked more real lol. And now that i look back at those lucid dreams, I am not fully aware, and they seemed washed out and blurry. But in the dream, I think it looks real...Does that make sense? I wanna know how to make them look vivid and be more aware. Oh and a other thing I had been having sleep paralyis, but i am like still in a dream. I try to move and can't, but i think its just a dream. What I was thinking was maybe am still in like a dream, and I really can't move. Like half asleep and half awake.

Apparently a good technique to improve clarity and lucidity is to look at something (Usually your hands) and really look at its details. Lines, minute‘ scratches, patterns and little details. From what I've read that should clear your dream a bit if things get fuzzy and make you more lucid.

Of course, I don't know first-hand... When I get another LD I'll have to give it a whirl.

      Okie, dokie... here's my take...

      1. How to be fully aware, instead of half-aware.
Actually, this one I'm not really sure on. The vast majority of my dreams are just being lucid, but I can't control them and work on personal goals. I'm just along for the ride, really. How would I try to become more aware? Two things.
      a) Become more aware during the day time. Every time you do a RC during the day, it's because you were made aware of the fact that this could possibly be a dream. So now, pretend it IS a dream. Do a reality check. For example, pinch your nose. Okay, so you can't breathe, you're awake, no biggie. But pretend you could breathe. What would you do now (I hope your answer was to stabilize the dream! ). Stabilize and think about your goals. And most importantly, hold onto that awareness of it 'being a dream' for as long as you can!
      b) A night, before bed, meditate. Do a mindful meditation (focus on your breathing and quiet your mind). 30 minutes. And then tell yourself you will have a lucid dream tonight, and you will be fully aware. Imagine yourself recognizing that you're dreaming, and completing a goal (do this a few times before you fall asleep).

These are two things that have worked in the past for me, to have more fully conscious dreams... I don't have a lot of time for meditating right now, but when I did meditate before bed, I had a much higher chance of having a lucid dream.

      2. The vividness
Not to sound cheeky, but it sounds like when you are dreaming, the vividness is fine, because you're amazed at it. I'm wondering if it is just your recall that it becomes washed out and blurry? If it is truly your mind, then once you are lucid, then sit there for a moment and ask your dream to add things. Sometimes, I try to 'see' things in my head, and then I see it with my dream-eyes.

      3. The sleep-paralysis
I get this sometimes too. Two ideas...
      a) Try to float out of your body.
      b) Since you're lying down and you're dreaming, try doing an inner dream WILD. They actually extremely simple when you're already asleep. You'll be in a new sub-dream and you should find it easier to move after this.
