I've had two unintentional DILDs now. Does that mean it will get easier/more frequent?

Last night I had my second DILD that came about without any induction techniques or mantras or stuff like that. I was in a field full of prickly bushes at night and then I just kind of realized I was dreaming. Nothing set it off, it just happened. The only sad part is I could feel the dream collapsing (it was really cool, everything started going black and stuff) so I tried rubbing my hands together and spinning but then I woke up.

So... Just wondering, but if I've done it twice now without any help, does that mean my chances of natural lucidity are increasing?

      Excited!

It does I think, I mean if you can subconsciously notice that you're in a dream then you're probably going to notice it and get lucid more. I can't see why it wouldn't.

It's still a long process though. It's been about a year and a half for me and only now can I get a decent LD rate without trying. Keep it up and it'll come eventually.

I think every time you get lucid by DILD you are getting better at recognizing a dream.

It would definitely make sense. Just like 99% of anything you do, the more you do it the more efficient you become at it. I can't imagine how it would be any different for LDing, I mean the more you recognize you're dreaming, the easier ( more natural ) it will become.

I would compare this to Dream Recalling. The more you have a good Dream Recall, the more natural it becomes. When I first started I barely remembered 1 dream per night, and now Im remembering up to 3 or 4 dreams nightly without really trying.
