Thread: Been having a dreams with this man, but I have NEVER met him in my life

Well, remove all those beautiful characteristics, and it could be me, but I doubt even that.

I never dream such dreams, cept of one girl. I can not discribe her, only that . . . well, it don't matter anyway. Just a dream.

My real dreams come when I am awake, and there is only me to do them.

Just wondering, because I read weird news, but does it look like this?

The way you describe him and the name Michael made me think of the archangel Michael from Judaism/Christianity/Islam. In those traditions, Michael is the general of the angels who leads them in the battle against the the forces of evil. Well, Whenever I see him, he seems serious, For example I had a dream in where I was in my room but it was empty except there was a tv but the sun was out and lit my entire room I was watching the tv, and He was standing there next to me wear a dark gray sweater and jeans, he seemed so focused on what was on the televison and didn't even look at me. He asked me what do I see, and I told him war, and then he asked me "what else?"...I describe it but I couldn't really understand what he wanted me to see. But that's all I remember I actually had a dream with him again last night, but this time he seemed worried but still calm. He was holding me or rather helping me we were both a small town in where I was in front of a grocery store I was kneeling but the way it was like when someone was to weak to walk and fell, Though Michael looked different, he had a bit of a beard. but none of the less, was the Michael I know. Somehow I was singing while I was kneeling, but I felt so tired I looked up to see, two other men walking past one of them looked almost exactly like michael but was a bit tan. Then I woke up

The reason why I described his feature is because he to me was so beautiful, I have never seen such beautiful and what striked me the most was the colour of his eyes, they were swarming with warmth and such knowledge. And whenever I am with him I feel safe, and whenever I see him it's like he's a protector, and or lover I am uncertain. But sometimes the way he looks at me is like a father looking at his only child....It's strange...but also everytime I see him, it's like I've known him for a very long time...he's familar.

Sounds like your imagination is creating your 'dream guy'. My mind often puts put in my dreams repeatedly, or possibly you have caught a glimpse of a guy that looks like him before. But you never really know.

I never met anyone that looked like him ever, "Dream Guy"? Weird.

Not really a dream guy. I meant that as in, a guy that in your mind you think is really handsome, and I didn't say it was someone you met.

He's most likely a product of your unconscious mind. 80% of the characters we see in our dreams are people we have never met in real life, they're just instant products of our imagination which is working like crazy while we're in REM sleep.

Just like the various of scenes, images and enviroments you see in your dreams, which are nothing like the ones you've encountered while being awake, some of the characters of your dreams are shaped and formed by your unconscious. So it's totally normal that you see people you have never seen or met in your real life.

However, since you keep seeing that specific man, it could mean that he's something of an ideal to you, perhaps the ideal lovel, or someone ideal to look up to. Your unconscious gathers enough information from even your most insignificant and small thoughts or sightings and creates what you could call your dream world that way. That man is part of that world. If you're enjoying his presence in your dreams, then there's nothing to worry about.

Jungian theory would have you believe he's one side of your own self i.e. your animus, the male side, of yourself.

No clue who or what it could be, though I'm more leaning towards a product of your subconscious. But damn, must be nice to have someone so gorgeous in your dreams, lol.

Reminds me of a dream boyfriend I once had.

I ended up dream-dumping him eventually.

Now I need something else to occupy my dreams!

It's really difficult to describe him, emotionally, but he is more like a romantic/protector I'm not sure lol, but he always seems to have a close eye on me, and in even one dream I was acknowledge as his wife!

We all have to choose betrween appearance and reality. That is the Holy Grail.
