      What you'd be 'stealing' is something you already know. With that in mind, a safe would be symbolic of an exchange with your subconscious (another approach would be to summon a dream guide, and to ask for such info); however, in this case you need not 'crack' the safe given that it is your own mind. You should have access to it freely. The safe should only be symbolic insofar as generating the expectation for it to hold something of importance. Creating the unnecessary condition, that you should not have access to it, is essentially suppressing the information.

      Just my interpretation. Not necessarily true.
