I agree with the above. The best way to get over that sort of thing is to just kind of "force" yourself to do the opposite. If you have to take a test, and you realize you are dreaming, simply refuse to do it. Be audacious about it. Stand up in your chair, in the middle of the room, and yell: "You know what?? This is just a DREAM! I'm not doing this shit!!" and walk out. Lol. Seems a little crude, but if that's what it takes to kick-start your lucid liberation, then so be it.
Also, some moral restrictions are good. For instance, I never attack/kill the innocent, when I'm dreaming. It's just a piece of me that carries over into the dream world, and it's just something I have no desire to experience. So, yeah, some moral restrictions are worth holding onto you, because betraying them might be somewhat telling of a darker desire. But when the actions are morally inconsequential, when dreaming (like running a red light), then I say: JUST DO IT!
