Doesn't sound like theres anything worng from what you described. Unless you're talking about your failure in flying, in which case all u can do is practice |

Thought plus emotion creates attitude. Attitude plus action creates experience and experience determines reality
The energy may come from the excitement of LDing. I've had trouble with trying to fly and waking up as well. But the best method I've discovered is examining your hands and focusing on the task at hand, instead of concentrating on how exciting LDing is or the amount of energy you have. It takes a lot of practice, but examining your hands should make everything much more vivid, and will keep you in the dream longer. Hope that helps! |

As we felt eternity,
the water recalled her life
as rain.
If you feel your dream fading (happens to me sometimes) then try spinning for a few seconds. I've used this to prolong one lucid dream from about 5 minutes, to like 20 minutes. I think i spun like 4 seperate times |

As far as the energy goes, I almost always have tons of energy when I start having a lucid dream. Exciting and new activities often cause a release of dopamine in the brain, dopamine is the same chemical responsible for the high of amphetamines, cocaine, caffeine, masturbation, and many other things. I think it is this excitement that is to blame for the huge energy and rush we sometimes experience when we are lucid. |
