      Want to learn!

I went as far as reading a lot about lucid dreaming and even bought a NovaDreamer Mask (which to this day has done nothing for me)

Any and all help would be appreciated

By the way, I've known about/had an interest for over 10 years, and I remember being lucid once

      Cheers!

      Mike

Do you keep a dream journal on a regular basis?

Nope. I know how important this is, but for the most part I don't remember any of my dreams, to enter into a journal. I guess I shouldn't expect to progress until I can do this?

If you don't write anything down to begin with, your recall will never improve.

      just try it
even if you know the past sensation or just a glinch of what you saw
      write it down.
i do that to since my recall is pretty much bogus at the moment but for some reason i get more confident with every day that i will make some progress
in the beginning you might think aah! why am i doing this! but you get used to it and then it doesnt matter anymore if you write down anything small.

also if you go to bed say to your self i WILL remember my dream tonight! say it a couple of times your self but with full confidence even if you don't have any recall next day
      just try!
i never had a LD my self but i finally learned the value of patience

      i hope it helped abit!

Thanks guys. I wonder if I can expect the same impact by recording my thoughts or dreams via typing it into my iphone OR recording the info with my voice into the phone, or does actually "writing" it on paper make it more solid?

      thanks again

It depends on the person. Go with whatever suits you the best. I prefer good ol pen and paper though

like XeL said that depends on the person indeed.
my method is writing down on paper, read it and then rewrite it on the dream journal page over here.

I remember reading once that when you writing, you process the information through your brain a lot better, which is one of the reasons that rewriting notes when studying is an effective method to learn/remember things.
