Does poor eyesight hinder lucid dreaming?

I've been wearing glasses since I've turned 10 or 11 and over the years my eyesight seems to blur noticeably. When I take off my glasses, everything is a blur to me. I can't make words out and unless I know what I'm seeing with my glasses, with them off new things I see are hard to make out.

Despite this, I'm been working on lucid dreaming on and off for about a year or two and now decided to get back into it. I was wondering if having bad eye sight would be harder to accomplish a lucid dream. For example going to sleep, I have to take my glasses off, everything blurred in my sight. Will that affect things like dreams, or even false awakenings/hallucinations?

No. You won't be using your actual eyes to see, because you'll be in a dream, using your dream eyes. This ought to be obvious to you. If, however, you were not to wear glasses in your dream, you might expect the environment to look blurry, as it is in waking reality. So, think vivid

If you can imagine something clearly, you can dream it clearly. Real life vision has no effect on dream vision, to my knowledge.
I've heard about glasses being used as a great reality check - try taking them off or peeking over them as a reality check. That way, when you do it in a dream and you vision stays fine, you'll think "hey! It's not blurry when I take my glasses off" and realise you're dreaming.

^ What he said, and that reality check definitely works.

I wear glasses and I've never had problems with my vision in lucid dreams.

Blind people, as long as they haven't been blind such birth, could see very clearly in a lucid dream. In a dream it is all mental, so as long as you know you are going to have clear vision in your lucid dreams you will have it. If blurry vision becomes a problem in dreams, just simply put on glasses whilst in the dream.

LOL. I became lucid this morning and my vision was blury, so I remembered this topic and found a pair of glasses and put them on. It worked so well, my dream became a lot more clear.
