For the past couple weeks I have had very vivid dreams. I cant seem to realize that Im in the dream world and RC's dont seem to happen either. Any suggestions?

Well first off RCs don't just happen. You need to make an effort durring the day to RC. You should also keep a dream journal. You can also look in to other techniques like MILD, WILD, and DEILD.

Practice awareness; that's really the only thing you need! Be skeptical as to whether you're dreaming or awake (you can't really tell until you do an RC, because both dreams and reality feel extremely real until we question things). But keep doing reality checks too, because you'll need to test if you're dreaming or not and if you don't do them, you might forget what they are.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Vivid dreams are a very good start and usually they are much easier to become lucid in... Keep up on the RCing and remind yourself regularly throughout the day that the world around you may not be what it seems to be.. this will help change your awareness of everyday life, thus changing your awareness during dreams.
