This makes me so freakin mad!!! "failed" rc, didn't think enough?

I was having an odd dream, and at one point I was running down the street at night, I did a nose plug reality check and I didn't even react to it! I guess I "failed it"
I've been doing RC's SO much recently but I guess I don't really question it?
see kids, this is what happens when you "mindlessly" do RC's.
      how can I improve this?

Start questioning reality when you do these RCs, of course.

Don't worry, you will get another chance. It's all a part of the process. I've missed opportunities in far more annoying ways. There is always going to be those occasional messed up moments where you want to punch yourself for not getting Lucid. Just use the experience to motivate you into your next Lucid. It's better than not even coming close at all. Next time you'll probably get it. If not, the time after that.

You need to come up with some virtually foolproof way of determining you aren't dreaming. If your dreams usually take place somewhere other than your real life environment, a history check might be suitable for you. Asking yourself how you got there, making sure you remember your day. Or looking at your hands or a watch or some text. I don't understand why someone would choose the noseplug RC to do regularly, since that isn't very inconspicuous when you're around people.

I do it since it's quick and not weird if I'm around others. My dreams are really unsteady, one night I will dream in a weird location, one night I will dream about school, my dreams are mixed with fictional people and people I know so that's kinda hard, they differ every night

Do a barrell roll on the ground, if your dreaming you should be able to do it, if your not, you will probably fail, but only do it when your alone. Or do something without thinking about it, so you dont have time to question it, which will usually make it unrealistic.

One time i fell asleep on one end of the couch and during a dream i "woke" up on the

opposite end, and for some reason THAT is what made me realize i was dreaming even

though i obviously never had done that as a rc check.

Cause i sat up and said to myself "I could have sworn i was sleeping on that side,

      wait this is a dream!"

Though i usually look at my hands to do RC checks or look at a scar i have on my

right arm, as usually it isnt there in dreams.

Of coarse! Last night I had two dreams ABOUT lucid dreaming! Gah! One was about DEILD and the other was how one of my aunts (which happened to be my most down o earth one in real life-one of thr 2 people I talk to about lucid dreaming, she thinks it's cool) and she was like "lucid dreaming is evil! This guy killed himself in one and he really died" and I kept trying to tell her no...this is frustrating

Well I had 2 actual lucid dreams last night! WBTB works amazingly, even after I gave up on the WILD I had a DILD and a MILD.

      and again this happens.
I had a dream earlier in the night that someone shot me two times in my head, then later in the night I dreamt I was telling someone about the dream of me getting shot. This makes me so mad!
