      Practicing/Muscle Memory

Hey Guys, this question has been something I've always wanted to find out, and it's just a really interesting topic to me. I was wondering if you could do something in a lucid dream, such as practicing a dance step/ or doing a sport related drill, and getting better at it in real life? Now, I don't really know how this would work if possible, because obviously you need to do it consciously to become better. But it's something that really fascinates me, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it?

      Thanks!

It's very possible and it's a shame more people don't know about it, just imagine where all of us would be if we utilized our dream time for perfecting our skills or practicing things we love to do. Personally in the few LD's I've had that I remembered to try drawing something it was a fascinating experience, not so much for the practicing aspect but simply for the inspiration and endless creativity I was exposed to. Also having that connection between waking and dream reality working as a single unit, where'd I'd dream for inspiration and paint something in waking life has been a lot of fun and brought me to do things I doubt I would've been able to in waking life alone.

Luckily other things like music or dance are probably better suited for practicing in dream time, where as drawing or painting in a dream can be very hard to do because images tend to fluctuate a lot and it makes practice a little difficult; but as mentioned, I've found other ways of incorporating it and using dream time to synergize with my art in waking life.

I can't seem to remember where I read it, but I've browsed through a few books and articles that definitely mentioned avid lucid dreamers that use their dream time to practice and rehearse things for waking life, so it's definitely possible! And yeah it is indeed a very interesting topic.

I was just about to ask a similar question, thanks for asking for me. I don't have any personal experience but I watched a Youtube video where a girl apparently mastered a Bop-it toy through practicing it in lucid dreams.
