Weird flashes and ringing before dream state.

I get this weird flash feeling and ringing noise before I reach dream state lately. Any of you get the same? Almost reminds me of a flashbang in Call of Duty.

This could be the effects of SP (sleep paralysis), sounds similar to a lot of reports of the 'vibrations' before OBE/LD that others describe. Can be bright lights, electric shock feelings, whooshing feelings/sounds, banging sounds, etc. I haven't experienced this myself, although the general consensus seems to be to relax and allow them to continue - they won't hurt you at all, until you pass through them. It's a good sign!

Yes, I get that. It is usually accompanied by my entire body being numb or tingly, so it must be sleep paralysis.

Whenever I reach that part of WILD, I get very excited. My heart will beat extremely fast. Sometimes I even start to get scared. This is why I usually fail WILD.

Yeah o-o when it comes to sleep paralysis I'm the same way. My breathing and heart rate speeds up! Looks like we need to find a way to distract ourselves and not be scared
