I've told two people about it and both of them were just like "Right ok. Awesome..." and never bring it up again.

I don't get it. When I found out about it I was so happy and other people just don't care

I don't think talking about your own dreams will inspire other people to dream. Look at the lucid experiences forum, most of the posts don't have too many replies. It is kind of funny, your own dreams seem really cool and important to yourself but people don't really care about some one else's dreams because there is no context. As cool as your dreams might be I could read about them and I don't think it would matter so much to me.

There is a thing called mutual lucid dreaming and there is some gray area were you can kind of contact people in other dreams. If every time you lucid dream you bring up your boyfriend and have long discussions with him trying to persuade him to lucid dream I think you could mess with him a little bit. I don't know how much you can affect other people but you are connected in some way through the dream world.

Funny, that we're all here now
Yeah, we all need a place of belonging. One way or another.

I know sometimes you're just dying to tell someone about the greatest dream ever you had last night, but then I stop myself telling people because I just know they won't really be that interested. Dreams are special to me and that's all that matters and no one can take that away from me. I bet if all the "celebrities" started talking about LDing then everyone would want to do it because it would be on trend, but dreaming is so much more than that and it's a pity many people don't see it, but it's their loss. Guess they just aren't wired to look at the bigger picture, if anything dreaming helps you open you mind to things in waking life, appreciate details, observe, analyse and question. It's just nice to know there are people out there like me who can have and appreciate these wonderful experiences

Well, with most of my friends, I don't even bother to tell them about it. Once told a good friend about it. She started doing it too, and her brother already was. She stopped after a while, her brother is still at it as far as i know. But i can't really care about it. It's her bussiness if she doesn't want it IMO
