      Forming dreams instantly?

So, today a friend of mine told me something quite strange...she said she can "form" new dreams whenever she wants. She said she does that when exiting dreams and even during the day, like in the middle of class, and even during a test. At least from what she said that's what I understood. This seems really strange... going from waking state to a dream. Anyone has any idea of what is this? I'm very curious.

I am not sure how to do this but my little brother can. From what I know it's called open eye hallucinations (or visualizations) There may be tutorials around the web if you search.

I've done this before. It's called Salvia . Open Eye Visuals are mainly induced with drugs. If someone is having OEVs without having takin' a hallucinogen then they should probably go speak with a doctor.
Sounds to me like she's just exceptionally good at WILDing.

I very much disagree with this, I have trained for awhile now to be able to do just that, and I can nearly do it, it is more of an overlay across my physical vision than receding my awareness totally into my minds eye though right now. I believe this is called "Plastic Visualization" by occultists such as Franz Bardon. Occasionally I can relax my awareness enough to do it though.

my friend can do it. its often if he smokes weed (about once a month) or listens to relaxing music on a bus. he just closes his eyes and visualizes. i used to be baffled at how he could 'WILD' like that, but its not WILDing, its just visualization (im pretty sure at least). some people are just naturally adept at visualization.

One detail i forgot to mention guys, she can only do it when her eyes are closed so I don't think it is open eyes halucinations.
      Sorry guys

It can easily be done with salvia hahah but that can also cause BAD reactions if the person doesn't know what is going on and is stupid.
But most likey it is called wake-initiated lucid dream (WILD)
You basically go from wake, to lucid dream.
Normally when you lucid dream, you go awake > sleep > REM > lucid > wake up
With this you go awke > lucid > wake up
With WILD you get no real "sleep time"

She told me she can do it with her eyes open
And I'm pretty sure she doesn't use drugs...

I have been able to do it. It started happening after I took mushrooms though. I basically merge whats in my head with what I am looking at and they sort of mix together. After about five minutes of staring do things start to change or move. Nothing major and nothing nearly as massive as a lucid

I can do it too...From what you're describing its called day dreaming. Sometimes I get so into it that my senses of the outside world get cut off.

I think she just visualises more clearly than others. It sounds like the kind of thing I do.

I didn't get post-shroom hallucinations but after doing Acid(the mostest awesomest substance known to man) I noticed I can make swirly cogs of color if I stare at a shiny surface.

      Isn't this simply day dreaming?
