Wondering about a dream guide

I was wondering this ever since I started reading about dream characters and what not. Would you be able to do something like command a specific dream character to be in every dream and every time you see or converse with this DC to tell you that you are dreaming therefore causing you to go lucid? If this would work we could have lucid dreams way more often. Im just wondering if this is possible though. Feed back would be lovely

I have heard of people having success with this, and others not. Try it and see if it works for you

This is an amazing idea! I guess this would be based of of what you call a dream guide, but truly an exceptional idea. Please let us know your results

I've sort of tried this once. I saw my brother in a lucid dream and since he was the only person around, I asked if he would tell me whenever I'm dreaming so I could become lucid more often. He said he wasn't sure he could do that.
I haven't seen him in any dreams since.

I should try this again, though, with a different dream character.

That's hilarious! Have you err found a dream guide, it seems that they would be the only DCs that could think for themselves

I have met my dream guide a couple of times. And I would ask her, or this other dream character I've met, but they haven't been showing up for me lately.

It works for some, it doesn't for others, for some more rare cases, it just comes and is totally annoying.

It sounds like you hate any form of interference with your dreams hukif haha. Ive heard you say that dream guides are annoying, I thought they were hot and enlightening

Well of course, if she can't stop me, then I don't care. I'm a fighter, so there is no need to hear someone that much weaker than me in the middle of an already existing fight.

I tried this again last night in another lucid dream. In the dream, I saw my girlfriend and asked her to help me become lucid more often by telling me when I am dreaming.
I then woke up slightly and entered another lucid dream. I found her again and asked her what she was suppose to tell me. She said something ridiculous like "You're the bomb."
I said no, and told her again that I wanted her to tell me when I am dreaming.

This dream version of my girlfriend did not seem fully conscious enough to help any.
