There are some things that are easier for me than others. I am much better at indirect control, such as finding objects and people rather than making them appear out of thin air. In that case it is just acting as though you "know" whatever it is will be there. I'll tell myself a little story, like, "Oh, I put that in this desk yesterday", or "wasn't this where they said that thing was on the news?"

I have "forced" things a few times, like making something transform into something else in front of me, by actually staring hard and convincing myself that I see what I want. That's almost like I'm in an argument with my subconscious, where it's like "That's a goat" and I'm like "nuh ah, it's a unicorn!" until the thing transforms. Flying I've done in dreams since I was little so that is a schema already built in. Same with transforming myself. That seems easy for some reason.

What I have not succeeded at yet is changing my surroundings. That's my current goal in the Personal Lucid Task Club.
