Have only done it in dreams, sadly. But there is adrenaline rush/fear, which is what makes it awesome. Hopefully I can do it soon in waking. |

I want to know how much difference there is in the way this feels? For me I imagine a dream has the same sensation minus the adrenaline rush/fear. When me and my friend were talking about skydiving he was like, "Dude, I wonder what it's like." And I told him I have done it a few times in dreams, but he didn't want to know what that was like, he dismissed it saying, "Oh I don't think that's the same thing." Well he hasn't seen for himself on the dreaming side. I'm wondering if there is anyone here who has done it on both sides, and can talk about how it compares? |

What I meant was there is no physical/chemical adrenaline rush. You may get something similar in the dream, but your mind is going to have more of an effect on it. IRL, your mind has almost no effect on an adrenaline rush, and your body stays in that adrenaline rush mode until it wears off, no matter what you are thinking. I see what you mean though, the dream does still have an intense "rush" to it. Though I had one once where I did not get fear, and I went into cannonball position as I skydived and "let go." Instead of hitting the ground, I went all the way through the earth and then back out the other end, shooting into space |

lol thats cool, generally though that feeling kills me, as I have a big fear of heights. Though I also like to defy my fears, so yeah <.< |
