Terrorizing false awakening

I've been able to lucid dream for a while now before knowing the techniques, I never really tried to do it, it would just happen every now and then. It took me quite a while how to actually make things happen. Anyways, now to this screwed up terror. I was recently having trouble sleeping one particular night. I kept waking up having nightsweats as soon as I fell asleep. Finally I stayed asleep, or so I thought. I actually have no idea at which point I was dreaming or not. My lights were off, my computer was on, just as I usually leave it because the whirring of the fans helps me sleep. I was rolling around in bed, for at LEAST 2 hours, completely aware of all my movements. My door opened a crack, very slowly, but closed again without making a noise. And just as I was about to fall asleep IN the dream (or who the hell knows). An intense, terrifying fear came upon me but there was no trigger. I was in my bed, but I was hearing things as if I was outside because I heard wind, and very heavy footsteps in the grass. I didn't see what it was, but I knew what it looked like. Then a boulder came crashing through my window, as soon as this happened I experienced paralysis and was unable to move for a few seconds. But then it stopped, I got up, checked my window, my light was on, and everything was fine. THEN I wake up almost shitting my pants, having no idea if I was still dreaming. It was 3am, and I just sat in my bed, waiting for something to happen with the light on. lol.

Well at that point I hadnt been attempting to gain any lucidity at all, so I wasnt aware of anything, didnt even think about RC's and what not, I just had intense fear, lol, This dream was 3 months ago. Only now I started getting back in to lucid dreaming, I realized that I've been living life as routine, and not being aware of anything.
