Wink My Lucid Dreaming Objective - Realistic?

I haven't lucid dreamed intently yet, but I've decided that I'm growing kind of bored with my lame reality, not to the point of disinterest, but I really miss believing in things that aren't real.

So I'm taking up lucid dreaming. I'm wondering if I fill my dreams will real life thoughts if I will learn more about myself and better cope.

The first thing I'm going to do is to try and fill my dreams with this girl that I've been thinking about a lot. However, a lot of bad feelings are surrounding her as well as good ones, so we'll see how that goes.

      Are my expectations too high?

No your expectations aren't too high from what I understand when we have full control of a lucid dream we are pretty limitless. Btw if you miss believing in things that "aren't real" then stop believing that they aren't real. I know what you mean, being raised in this society we are taught there is no such thing as magic and that we are all separate etc. But the truth is that life is dull because we believe it to be this way. We develop concepts for everything so now when we look at a tree or a bird, thats all it is, we are only seeing a concept in our mind so its not exciting. In reality every bird or tree is so unique that when we quiet our judgmental mind we can truly see the beauty that is there. Being raised the way we are we stop seeing auras as we grow older, we stop remembering our dreams, and worst of all we sever our connections with mother earth and all life around us. We stop feeling the energy and life, the consciousness that emanates from everything in existence. We even sever connections with our heart, not the physical heart, and forget who we really are. We stop believing in magic and we stop believing in anything that isn't physical, like our Spirit, or the Love you will find always flowing from your heart in the form of life energy Anyway I totally encourage you to start believing in more magical aspects of life, because believe me there is much more to our existence than what most humans experience solely in the material plane. Good luck going lucid my friend here is a link to an awesome Dream induced lucid tutorial, the technique is also great for staying in the moment throughout the day; when we are immersed in the moment our mind and emotions are silent and everything is one.http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/all-da...gyoshi-113253/
