      Length of lucid dreams

      Never understood why people seem to have trouble with making their dreams last, mine always seem to last for quite awhile, a couple to the point where I wished to get out for I feared I was oversleeping. How does everyone else fair in regards to this? And for other people, what can be done to prolong them further?

      The length of my dreams varies. In reality our REM periods don't last that long but our perception of time can change.

      Stabilizing a dream can help you to extend the length. To stabilize a dream simply engage your senses. Run your hands or look at the detail in objects. Get creative.

      Stabilizing really helps me increase LD length.
