I think my dreams are become more lucid.

This week two of my dreams had me (and others) turn into animals. Until Monday May 30th I had NEVER turned into an animal before.

May 30th dream: I was trying to escape from a kidnapper (I have a habit with being kidnapped it happens every now and then. But less often then it use too). and the would be kidnapper was being chased by 3 men. Two who I know in RLF (one was an old crush, that is now my crush again) and the second man who I knew from RLF was a boy (a man now) up the street from me. The third person I didn't know.

At some point in the dream i was racing &jumping on the top of the buildings. Superman showed up for a bit. I then ran into the Daily Planet office. and Lois (Lane?-don't know if she changed her name after her marriage in Superman Returns) had me in disguise @ a desk there in the office. Suddenly the would-be kidnapper appeared and also the 3 men. They jumped and transformed into wolves. I also jumped and transformed into a wolf.

      Second dream:
I dreamed I was in Africa (wild) with my friends and we discovered an orphaned lion cub about a day old. The cub's pride wasn't seen anywhere near by. So There only seemed to be one choice: turn into lionesses ourselves.

Even though we knew that there's was a risk in doing it. Having half-human, half-lion/cat babies if male lions become TOO friendly. We did become lioness The most ironic thing was out of the 3 lioness, I was the best hunter (which is ironic when I barley know how to cook).

Just to clarify something about the thread title, lucidity isn't how clear or vivid a dream is. Being lucid just means you realise that you are dreaming, while in the dream. Lucidity doesn't always come bundled with dream control or vividness - it would be perfectly normal to have a lucid dream that was very blurry and that you had no control in, as long as you realised you were dreaming.

Lucidity is basically awareness in a dream. If it felt like more of you was "there" in the dream, and you were somewhat more aware than you normally are, then yes, you were close to lucidity! Know that dream control and lucidity are totally different things, though. I've flown and turned into animals in many of my non-lucid dreams, and sometimes in my lucids I couldn't manage to shapeshift at all (just the nature of that specific dream). Shapeshifting may be a sign that you're thinking about dream control and possibly lucidity, though, which is a good thing.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I never think of anything. I have 0 thoughts in my head (I clear them out before sleeping).
