AND.... if you were in my position right now what would you be doing to prepare for when you go to sleep?

WILDing should be much easier when you've had some sleep already, but I'm told it can be done when first going to sleep. The herb might hurt your recall some, but it couldn't hurt to try. If I were you I'd be doing things to help me relax, maybe some nice calm music, or a cup of tea; and just generally preparing myself mentally, which includes making a clear and definite choice as to what I want to do first should I become lucid.

I don't have much experience WILDing, but what I listed there is just good preparation in general. Good luck with whatever you try

WILDing is possible at the beginning of sleep, but it is so much easier if you get a few hours of sleep in first (or perform a WILD during a nap). Instead of starting your WILD technique as soon as you lay down, take several minutes to get nice and relaxed. Allow your body to wind down a bit before jumping into your technique. Stay positive and confident when performing your WILD.
