So, I have improved my dream recall......next step?

Since I took a break from this forum I knew LDing has many parts and I started with most important part, having a dream and remebering you had a dream.

I did not know what to do so I just lay down on my back and let my thoughts take over. After that, I just sleep and see what dream pops up. I used brainwave MP3s at first and they really helped out. Now, what should I do next?

I am planing on starting my DJ for the next week and after that I will try doing RCs.

How do I remind my self to do an RC? I always forget and when I remember to do it, it seems forced and I am not questioning reality.

The cheeky response would be to just do them more, througout your daily routine =P

A couple of points that may help you achieve this:

1: Since you are now proficient in recalling dreams, go through them and look for dream signs, which can be anything like being on a playground, smoking, trains, planes cup cakes, you name it. Once you encounter these in real life you should get reminded to RC.
2: Set out dream goals, what would you really REALLY like to do in a dream? Once you have a fairly solid grasp of this try and "live" them out during the day. Treating your surroundings as if they were dreams during the day are shown to increase the probability of lucidity.
3: Don't stress yourself too much and don't expect quick results (you might get results quickly) but don't expect it. Although you are capable of lucid dreaming and you CAN do it right now, it would be a shame if you got stressed and lost motivation, stress is probably dreamkiller numero uno.
4: Have fun with your dreams even if they aren't lucid (have beaten Darth Vader in a force match and smiten the devil atop a Mayan pyramid in non-lucids, have very few lucids that compare to the awsomeness of these two =P)

Best of luck with it mate =)

If there's something you dream about on average that isn't something that you'd do or see in waking life then associate it with doing reality check. For instance, I dream about school a lot but I'm not in school nor have I been for the last 5 years. When I drive by a school or someone mentions it, I do a reality check and check my surroundings.

Thanks! That was really helpful for a head start. Nah, I do not stress and even if I did, I will remember my goal. To be someone in the Dragon Ball world :p
