      Weird Dream Sign?

      Ok, I have a really weird dream sign that can scare the living crap out of me. This one dream sign is that I am unable to run, or I run like a physically imaired person. Not being able to run in my dreams makes nightmares even more of pain and that much more scarier.

      You guys know in horror movies how someone is being chased and they trip and they are unable to get up. Then the person chasing them is able to grab them and do very strange things to them. Well that is exactly how I feel, I feel helpless. This has also happened to me in my lucids and it made things even worse. I know I could fix the problem in my lucids, but in a normal dream I can't stand this helpless feeling.

      Does anybody else have anything similar to this?

      Yes, when I run it is usually very slow and I trip and all sorts. however I find that swimming and jumping are faster ways to travel.

      hey,
      wow..that is a problem O.O
      Tell your mind into thinking that there's a way of escaping that "trapped" feeling..
      Create a spell you could say out loud and that would free you..
      Maybe a mantra that states whenever you're in that trapped state,you could simply become lucid and snap out of it..
      Just my suggestion hehe

      I had something similar happen this morning I was trying to get the hell out my room, and I froze up. I had to vision setting off a nuke to break out of the freeze. D:

      The feeling of it is just so odd because when i wake up in the morning I'm always like why the hell couldn't I run. The good part about most of these situations is that if a person does catch me, I am usually able to be the living piss out of the fool trying to attack me.
