If you know anyone in real life that is also into lucid dreaming, have you ever thought about setting up a scenario to make him think he is dreaming? It would be hard to do, but the outcome would most likely be hilarious.

You somehow rig the digital watches in the room to change to a different time when you remotely press a button in your pocket (for example). So he does a reality check, he turns his head, you press the button in your pocket, he turns around = the time is different. You also disable the light switches in the apartment / house. Then you start acting like a dream character, trying to convince him it isn't a dream. You could always include other people to act in this, to make it more interesting.

LOLLLL, it would be funny to watch his reactions, or film them with a hidden camera.

Nonetheless, this shouldn't be attempted if his apartment is 2nd floor and above. He might try to "fly" by jumping out the window.

That's why it's important to have many different kinds of reality checks. I mainly use the "finger through palm' and "nose plug" reality checks (can't really rig those lol). Funny idea nevertheless

Yeah, but some RCs don't work for some people. The finger-through-palm RC never worked for me, and the nose plug RC I never tried. The digital watch RC is my favorite, and almost every DILD I had in my life was caused by this type of RC.

Either way, it's still funny to think about setting someone up like that. I would have a hard time keeping a straight face though.

If there was only one watch, like an alarm clock in the room, there might actually be ways to set it up to be able to change to a different time through a remote control.

Yeah, I said that too. It would also be pretty bad if he decided to pass through the wall by running at it full speed.

If the time on the watch changes each time he looks back, and no light switch works, and people act weird around him... then yes, he would probably fall for it.

Oh wow, this sounds like something out of Fear Factor or Punk'd, it'd be so great to pull this on someone!

Another idea is to target one person, get a few of your friends together and at random points throughout the day walk past them and say something like
"You're dreaming"
"This isn't real."
"You're in a coma, please wake up!"
Then walk off, and pretend nothing happened, and keep talking normally
