      Alarm Clocks and Sleep Paralysis?

I've seen people complain about alarm clocks pulling them in to sleep paralysis, but it seems to me that since alarms are meant to quickly jar you out of your sleep, it would reduce the chances. Does anyone have experiences with their alarm and sp?

(Oh, yeah, and so far my lucid dreams have ended prematurely. What's it like (is it even possible) to stay in a lucid dream until you wake up?

EDIT Since no one has answered yet, I have another question. What's sp like if you wear a sleeping mask? I'm guessing you still hear things and sense things, but can you still see things? Like, little things that your mind creates, or maybe your mind recreating you in your own room?

I have no experiences with SP when my alarmclock goes off.

But about the second question, I think that it can't really be answered. I had SP in total darkness where I couldn't see a thing, I gues thats the same as wearing a sleep mask. But I also had SP inside a dream once, so it good very well be possible to dream that you have SP in your bed, but than the following question is, was it a dream or SP?

Its complicated so I don't have any good answers for you
Hope I helped in the slightest bit.

Waking up into SP might caused by sleep deprivation or an inconsistent sleep schedule; I use an alarm clock alot, and have never had any experiences of the matter. I have experienced SP while wearing a sleep mask; I saw some HI - a bright white light, along with very pale, blurry green and white squares. You obviously wouldn't be seeing your room unless a dream scene was already forming.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
