Thread: Help dreamguide issues! Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

So after a very long time of lucidly searching for my dreamguide i have found her and she is everything i wanted my dreamguide to be and more but she is tricky after meeting her (BTW her name is Validae Dindaio) and learning her name i never find her when i go lucid instead i have dc's try to say they are her or she appears and like wakes me up she has also admitted to not letting me utilize dream control and she claims that she is not a regular dreamguide and is from somewhere else by that i mean she told me that she entered my mind or something and is now my DG which is just creepy also how can she control my ability to control things like i can only fly if she wills it! On my first and second lucids i was turning things to ice and flying at what felt like mach speeds now i just jump in the air fall and hurt myself i acknowledge it is a dream but why cant i do anything and why does my dreamguide only appear "When she feels like it" I understand she is like my other half, a manifestation of me or my subconscious but can she really be what she claims and how do i get back my dream control!!!!!! does anyone else have this problem? And she seems crazy because one moment she is crying cause she is happy the next she is screaming threatening to wake me or throwing dc's at me that tell me she told them to come to me instead and she leaves them messages to tell me i think there is an example in one of my dream journal entries regarding finding my dreamguide. But please HELP!

I'm not sure how closely related a dream guide is to the person itself(Still a newb) but have you ever been diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder?
If so would it be possible that your dream guide has this same disorder causing the random mood swings and weird behavior?

What is your mental and emotional stability like, Izanagi? I'm asking because I wonder if this is transferring over into your dreams. Do you stress alot? I've never really heard of an issue like this. Perhaps she is not your dream guide, i don't deny that she is a part of you, but perhaps she is your feminine darker half.
A friend of mine recently discovered two parts of himself within his dreams, his inner darker self and inner happy self.
Do not lose hope, but you may have yet to find your true dream guide. However, this could be a very good stepping stone. Good luck and keep us updated!

HAHA its funny you mention Bi-Polar disorder i have said to my friend that i may be secretly bi-polar because of how she acts and i rarely stress i am pretty easy going that's what surprises me. I am very stable mentally. I also can be sure Validae is my dreamguide one thing i should note is that the lucid where i finally met her and was face to face with her she was significantly older looking and her hair was longer as it is now.

Well my good man, Dreams are mostly about expectations, (I'm sure you already know this to an extent) And to me, this Dreamguide of yours seems like a nazi. So, if you want to beat this, while in your lucid dream, expect yourself to have an object. Say, a ring. And as long as you have this powerful ring, Nobody can control you. If you expect it this object to be more powerful than her, you will defeat her. I dont just give you this tip not knowing if it will work, I am actually speaking from experience.

But i want to spend time with my DG i guess i could try that until i can find her and figure it all out but wouldn't acquiring the ring require dream control? And Thanks for all the support

Yes, yes it would require some sort of dream control. I guess it all depends on how much control she has over you. Just expect it to be on your hand already, hopefully it will be there. good luck!

BTW is it weird to feel pain in your lucid dreams or to have your muscles get sore or tired cause that happened in my latest one i mean i always feel pain but it was wierd that my muscles where like that even though i just had to concentrate on getting rid of the feeling for 2sec to stop it?

I wouldnt say its uncommon. I've had experiences that involved me feeling like im walking in water, and the more i walked, the more my legs would get sore.

OK expect a Large DJ entry about Validae tomorrow because i finally know whats been messing up my WILD attempts recently! So armed with my small amount of dream control, the ring,and the resolve to overcome my DG i shall FIGHT!

It's common to feel pain in a lucid if you expect it. If you don't expect it, you won't experience it.

Wow, this is odd. I've met my dream guide a few times but each time hes in a different shape. One time it was an old chinese grandma aswell, but I think this is because I'm trying to control the shape of my DG too much
