      Possibly semi-lucid, not sure

Last night I pretty much botched my recall by staying up late and eating nomz, as well as I'm sleeping in someone else's bed . This morning all I could remember was 4 fragments of dreams, 2 of them were from the same one which is the one I may have been weakly semi-lucid. In the dream I remember having the thought, "This seems to be becoming a recurring dream." Do you guys think I reached semi-lucidity earlier on in the dream and don't remember it? Or possibly I've got the dream awareness level of a napkin and even directly thinking that I'm dreaming didn't clue me in to the fact that I'm dreaming.

I'm not sure if it actually was a recurring dream, I haven't looked through my journal for it but I don't remember it happening recently. The two fragments were, first: I am in a trashed up town beating the crap out of Wheatly from Portal 2 for information, and second: I'm at some chamber with Tyrannosaurus Rex eggs in it that I need to hatch but the first one hatches into a duck and the next one is a inflatable T-Rex. The second one was when I thought it was recurring.

Well didn't find anything related at all in mah DJ so I'm thinking I was not lucid because to my knowledge it shouldn't give you fake memories. I guess I've got to seriously work on awareness lol

i recall my lucid dreams very well, i actually havent been working on my dream recall much and only been remembering about 1 dream a week. but just a couple days ago i became lucid and woke up during my first time levitating and remembered that dream and the one b4 it more vivid than any dream ive had before. I remember where i was to the point where i almost didnt become lucid but tought something was weird and did the hand through the palm, it worked...

I basically got to your point but i did a reality check and you didnt, maybe practice more RCs dailey and when you do it really question your reallity(if your awake or not)
So you were just 1 RC away from a lucid

It sounds like you were almost lucid. You must have had some suspicion that it was a dream. This is a good sign that you are on the right track. I've had similar experiences. I will briefly realize that I am dreaming, but not fully understand the consequences of this realization. It is like I just think about it to myself, then never really do anything about it. It is a very low level of lucidity.

Ive been trying to RC everytime i hear or mention anything related to dreaming or lucidity because as of late DCs have been talking about it around me or I think of something related to it. Well atleast it means I'm making some slow but sure progress. Thanks Boss and Robot.

Dream recall isn't always perfect it varies, as well as "dry spells"
