      Lightbulb The Vividness Box

      My Point:
Build a box in real life, made of paper simply, or even put a little sticker next to a light switch that doesn't work that says "Vividness Increase"*.
If you see it enough, in the dream world, you'll pass by that same switch when you're lucid, and with a little flip, or press, or whatever kind of switch you have, your dream will be much more vivid!

*Disclaimer: If anyone else but you passes by that light switch, you have a risk of looking like a total tool.

I came up with this idea after achieving my first WILD the other night. After I stepped into the dream, I immediately went outside and attempted to summon a box, where I could increase dials, and push buttons to increase my vividness, etc.

This was a bit of a problem for me, because I can't always manage to summon things, whether it be a lack of self-confidence or who knows.

      Post your results below.
      Keep dreaming.

      first off, i do think its a great idea..if a little unncssasery(IMO)

only in the sense that, alot easier then summoning a box(which is a skill in and of itself!) would be the tried and tested tecnique of simply demanid CLARITY NOW or something along those lines along with the had rubbing or spinnning tecnique to stabalise the world.

I do think though that for experienced and seasoned LD'rs who can have them bascially at will it is a great idea and very creative!

True, but for those who may be a bit less creative than others can simply remember switch or box they made, and make it appear, which is much easier than creating one yourself in your mind.
      Keep dreaming.

So you're trying to induce the placebo effect, on yourself? I don't think it works that way.
"I know that I am mortal by nature, and ephemeral; but when I trace at my pleasure the windings to and fro of the heavenly bodies I no longer touch the earth with my feet: I stand in the presence of Zeus himself and take my fill of ambrosia, food of the gods." - Claudius Ptolemy

If anybody also speaks the above language, then please PM me ASAP!!!

A simple idea... but sounds like it has potential.

Creative but unnecessary and unreliable. If you want to increase vividness, simply get involved or just demand it.
