      first lucid but poor quality

      Hey everyone

last night i had my first ld.
I was wondering why the quality was that bad and how can i improve it

      well, here's the dream.

I was at school when i suddenly realized it's a dream.I did a reality check and it failed.
But the quality of the dream was terrible so i tried feel the environment and put my hand on a wall. (I felt like i was touching a tree) And i spun around but It felt like i was about to be sick. I shouted "clarity" but the dreamcharacters were looking at me angrily, so i stopped. After this I told a DC that he isn't real but he just ignored me.

      thanks in advance

Hi. Don't worry about that. Some dreams are unstable and unclear no matter what. You can always try to activate all your senses, one by one. That should improve the quality and make the dream more stable. Good luck next time!

That's happen to me before but different. It will take some time to get used to the dream characters aggressive side. Just show them who's boss. Once in one of my LDs I was at some school gym and on some bleachers and I realized I was dreaming and a DC threatened me not to stabilize the dream. Take time and practice. Eventually you'll get better.

Congratulations! Having a lucid dream, no matter the quality, is a giant first step. Getting the bugs out may take a little time, but now you know your techniques for inducing the dream work and you are fully capable of having and remembering the lucid dream. As both of the other posters said, the lucid dreaming experience takes time to refine and adjust to - be patient and realize that it will be when and not if you can truly gain deeper control and clarity.

There are a number of things you can do to boost the quality of your dreams. One of my favourites is to simple rub my hands together or even just feel the surfaces around me. My goal is to try and get my brain to focus on producing the dream rather than waking up.

However, I should not be disheartened that your first Lucid Dream was of poor quality. This is sometimes to be expected. Lucid Dreaming is a skill that requires a lot of practice to perfect. No one is expecting you to have a full blown vivid Lucid Dream on your first attempt.
I promise you that the more you practice the more clearer your dreams will become

      every skill improves with experience

just think about you riding the bycicle for the forst time

      why worry at all?

be happy, keep doing what you`ve been doing, it will get better
      dream goals:
[ ] - sail with the Black Perl to Hoghwarths and show my magic wand to Hermione aaarrrrrrrrr
[ ] - turn into Chuck Norris, kick Justin Bieber into a large pit, while shouting "shut the f*ck uuuuuuuuuupppp"
[ ] - meet the Sasquatch and ask him to pick my stocks, then crash the economy
[ ] - find my virginity to avoid the piranhas on the escalator and get probed by aliens
