      Someone help . . . please.

This is scary to me and its starting to effect my waking world. I keep having dreams of my little brothers death. He's only 12 and it scares the shit out of me. In each dream I dont know what happened to him, but hes dead and I am grieving TERRIBLY. To hte point when I wake up Im depressed throughout the day. This happened again last night. In my dream my brother had died and my mother replaced him by adopting. I found this tragic that she forgot all about my REAL brother and I broke down into tears in my dream. This is something I wish I could control like a Lucid Dream, but this is different. These dreams seem to be uncontrollable. To add onto it, my mom had dreams about my brothers death before, and I used to have them about him Falling in a well and dieing. God help.
Does anyone have an explination and how I could possibly stop it? The help would be greatly appreciated. I'm beginning to get worried and Im tired of grieving over my brothers death that hasn't even happened.
      Is it real . . . is it a dream . . . is it real . . . is it a dream
      you decide

well it seems that both you and your mother have a depressed fear of losing your brother, my mother always used to have fears of me being kidnapped and other things but it never happend, (no worries ) also i used to have dreams of my brothers dieing all the time but we all moved out now and I wouldnt say that my dreams fortold of their deaths if they were to die today, (everybody has to die sometime, its all about being ready)
~I wake up a little more every time I dream.

I think that maybe your mom having dreams of your little bro dying might have had a profound effect on you and caused you to begin having the dreams as well. Or perhaps you just had one random dream about him dying (I have random dreams about people or my dog dying occasionally) and it had such a strong profound effect on you that you couldn't stop thinking about it, and by thinking about it so much it continues to manifest itself in your dreams again and again. It's sort of like you are building your own nightmares. I had something like this happen to me before (not dealing with someone dying) but I was afraid of something and couldn't stop thinking about it so I would dream about it over and over again.

I think that you really need to try and use this as a dream sign. Realize that your brother is not dead, and if he is...you MUST BE DREAMING. Hopefully you can use this to stop having these dreams. Just tell yourself over and over again that he is not dead, and he is not going to die anytime soon...I think you will eventually become lucid in one of these dreams when you are sitting there crying and stop to think...wait, what the hell, it's just a dream.

      Good luck!
