Besides having fun how lucid dreaming affects life quality ? Is it possible to find effects in memory, anxiety, social relations and sleep ?

I have noticed better sleep because the idea that an LD can happen turns my night into a pleasurable experience. Contrary to what has been said in other threads, LD could improve insomnia because there is no more fear of going to bed as happens with most insomnia sufferers.

Also, as memory is related to a healthy sleep with all phases including a minimum of REM sleep and dream, it is possible that lucid dreamers have better memory.

As some dreams reflect supressed desires in waking life maybe lucid dreamers can deal better with their anxiety than regular dreamers.
