The benefits of lucid dreaming for real life.

So I was looking up the benefits of lucid dreaming for my friend to look at and it made me remember why I had started anyways. On a lot of sites it says that lucid dreaming can make you more confident, heal you, help you banish fears/nightmares, real world problem solving. Anyways what I'm asking is has any of this (or something else) actually happened, has your life significantly (at least enough for you to notice) improved? Well besides the fact that lucid dreaming is really fun.
"For a long time it gave me nightmares, having to witness an injustice like that. It was a constant reminder of how unfair this world can be, I can still hear them taunting him. 'Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!'... How come they just couldn't give him some cereal?"

I can't really answer your question, but isn't this the wrong forum?

Yeah, I think this is the wrong forum. But lucid dreaming has helped me in real life. I used it to overcome a strong fear/phobia from a car accident about 4 years ago.

It is what you make of it. It can be used for those purposes, it just all depends on what you use it for.
