Like psychedelic drugs can expand your mind and your whole attitude about everything can change. Can lucid dreams do this too? |

I was so much older then, I'm younger then that now.
Psychedelics give you a chemical inbalance that affects brain perception or increases the senses, dreams can do the very same thing without the inbalance thingy, so sure why not. Though its harder but free and lasts your whole life if done properly. |

I've heard of people who have talked with their subconscious through DCs, and discovered things about themselves/changed habits/etc. I've never experience this myself though, so I can't really testify for the validity of it. Some people even think you can physically heal yourself through lucid dreams. Who knows! Try stuff out, I guess. |

I haven't had an lucid dream so far (excluding one that was 13 years ago...), but out of my minor experience in general dreaming and everything I heard I can only compile that it very well can. It depends though either on luck to have something special in your dreams or your own will to use your dreams to change something. In dreams you're freed of the chains of reality and you can contact your own subconsciousness. I personally think that if done willingly and properly lucid dreams can by far exceed any mere drugs. And as said already, without nasty side effects. |
