How does breathing affect the entering to SP?

For the past 2 weeks i've been having LDs only with this method and i just let it roll by itself , but a couple of days ago i tracked the way i do it.
Basically i do a WBTB then go back to sleep.I automatically wake up an hour later (can be in the middle of the night). Here is what happened the morning i learned about the method:
1)I woke up and looked at the clock , it was 6:09 AM
2)I had to wake up at 6:30 so i was almost sure i won't have a LD anymore.
3)I lay back and did like a stretching motion and put my arms above my head on the pillow.
4)Without thinking anything i inhale quite deeply and don't exhale for a second.
5)Then suddenly my whole body freezes and i enter SP and a few seconds later a LD.

It was about 15-20 seconds from me looking at the clock and entering the dream..
And it's not the first time.. i usually wake up at the night without thinking about anything but rolling over and going back to sleep..Then suddenly i have a thought about LD and when inhale i suddenly enter SP.
Has anyone ever experience this?I usually have this type of LDs every night without thinking of doing it on purpose.

That is very strange, you moved just before entering SP, it could have been a False awakening, but you shouldn't enter SP like that in real life. (I don't think?) If so, that's pretty awesome, but I doubt it!
When I deliberately breathe deeper when trying to WILD it puts me off, but that's just me.

You should do a RC everytime you wake up and check the time, if the RC doesn't fail and you can enter SP that quickly, you've got a gift! Try doing it on purpose for a week or so

I will try this. As said before, be careful of the false awakening, so RC upon awakening. I RC every time I wake up.

I do RCs everytime, it was not a false awakening. It only happens when i don't think about DEILD , i just notice that i woke up do a reality check , roll over and suddenly my body freezes .. it is just really weird ,i did it once on purpose and it worked , but i didn't enter the dream i fell asleep as i was to sleepy i guess. Also , does the strength of vibrations depend on breathing for you? When i enter SP this way and start feeling vibrations , i need to get my breathing pattern right to get stronger vibrations and enter the dream.
