Yes it is, but if you get the thought of a dream that you had months ago then it probably will be hard to realise that it was a dream you just recalled |
By this I mean is it possible for me to wake up, not remember a thing of the dream, and then remember some of the dream later on in the day or week, maybe even months? |

Yup, it's common, especially if you hold to a fragment of some sort (for example if all you remember is meeting a friend, that small piece might be the key to unlock the dream several hours later during the day). |
Happens to me all the time. Usually dreams just vanish completely when not written down or explicitly memorized, but I've had some of my forgotten dreams just pop up days or even months later just out of the blue. Often they happen either when I'm going to sleep or inside other dreams, but I've had one or two just suddenly pop up when I'm awake during the day and something happens to remind me of the dream. |
It frustrates me that I could have had a lucid dream but not remember it. |
I usually don't remember all my dreams untill about 10 minutes after waking up, but I don't usually remember them later on in the week, but it's possible. |
I still remember a ton of dreams from 10 years ago with vivid details |
Yeah, it's actually common. It happens to me all the time. I will wake up with no memory of a dream I had, and then 4 hours later something trigger my memory, and I remember it! |
Sure, I was taking my daily shower one day, and as I spelt the soap, I remembered "Hey, I had that dream about perfume !" |
