      LDAP (Lucid Dreaming Apprentice Program)

I think we should have a 1on1 program with our experts in DILD/MILD/WILD who help us newbies learn how to have LDs and share experiences.

Thats what dream guides are around for! I feel like people don't take advantage of them, you all should bombard them with all your questions. Of course making threads about your problems are perfect too, and we're here to help, but you should definitely talk to the dream guides for help as well.

There is always the DV academy, I don't know if they're still open for applicants, but give that a try.

Dreamviews is full of so much information you would be up to your neck in it. There are threads buried deep in the forum that have the answers to all your questions. Tutorials, and so much more.

To have a 1on1 program to help newbies with dreaming would be great, but unnecessary.

tl;dr check out the dream guides.

DILD = Dream Induced Lucid Dream

To put it in an easier perspective: something out of place in your dream, will trigger you to contemplate whether or not you are dreaming.

      This state is called "lucidity".

The reality checks that you do, are tests to see if you are dreaming or not. By doing them during the day, it will transition into a habit in your dream after a few weeks of RC at times during the day.

To start off, just start doing reality checks at random times. Later as you make them into a habit, do reality checks at points where you feel like "could this be a dream"? Contemplate whether you are dreaming or not, and this will make it's way into your dreams. Keep a dream journal and try to get 1-2 dreams a night.

You will have a lucid dream in no time.
