I've heard about the idea before of eating and chewing with as much awareness as possible. But the thing is when I eat I am on the phone, reading something, multi tasking. And I don't necessarily want to focus all my attention on the tasting and chewing of food. I sort of like being half engaged while I talked and let me mind observe the ambiance.

Can anyone here suggest to me some sort of higher quality of life by trying to me more "aware" through practical application.
