      Creepy post-sleep paralysis dream.

I was laying in bed, which was actually in the street. The place reminded me of California. The world was empty, as my dreams usually are.

A girl appeared at the other end of the street wearing a bikini and carrying a surfboard, she was walking towards me. I got excited, not only because I found a sign of life, but because I knew I was dreaming.

I called to her, but she ignored me, she kept walking and steps over me. I ran after her. I wanted to ask her questions, I didnt have any yet in mind, but I wanted to gain her attention.

She continues walking, fast. I begin jogging slowly after her, we enter a narrow hallway and she refuses to let me look at her face (even though I saw it already), she crouches down to the floor and wraps her arms around her knees, burying her face in to her abdomen. Before I got to say anything..

      Everything goes black.

I lost the dream, I’m consciously aware I lost the dream, I keep my eyes closed because I still feel the dream and I hope I can fall back in to it. I feel my body crouched next to her, but I cannot see. I now realize I’m in the in-between zone. I open my eyes consciously, I still see only black. I try to move, and I’m paralyzed.

Immediate fear consumes me, even though I’ve felt this before. I abruptly struggle to move, consciously fighting the feeling of paralysis. My eyes slam shut and I struggle, and let out a muffled yelp. And something speaks, “How, How, HOW?” In the most distorted, electric, underwater, static, frightening tone I have ever heard. When it spoke, wire-framed visions of the thing appear in my eyes. The louder it yelled at me, the more vivid the colors. Sounds were producing visions. It was green, its eyes were yellow and very round, close together. It had strange ears that were pointy. Its voice was ugly and frightening. Moments later, I begin moving again.

      One thing I don't understand.

Why is it that, during this transition, I feel such intense fear. Almost always its a voice screaming, or some terrifying, unnatural noise. I feel things grabbing and hollering at me and all other such frightening things.

Why isnt it, peaceful voices and flowers and nice feelings? lol

Once you get used to the feeling, of sleep paralysis, you won't feel the intense fear. Try and practice getting into SP during the day, if it's more calming to you

There was something I noticed about always feeling fear during SP. I would enter it and have this intense claustrophobic feeling. I would suddenly think of the most terrifying things that could happen during SP. This is when the horrors would start. Slowly, as I gained more experience, I would start to yell and mock at these visions. They would just stop. These visions almost feed off of your fear, and if you don't fear them they will just creep away.
I can't say I've ever had a happy experience during SP, but lately I have had a lot of undisturbed ones. Here and there, but I almost have nothing next to horrific anymore when it comes to hallucinations.
There were a few times that i almost felt more alive during SP. I mean that by I almost felt a much more clear sense in my mind. I could think exactly what I wanted to, and my mind wouldn't just jump around at random things. You really gain control of everything you are thinking. Thats why its almost relaxing. Sometimes...
