I was just wondering if anyone had come up with other ways of remembering their dreams?

I'm sure that using a voice recorder is a common one. I recorded my first dream in a very long time a couple of days ago (at about 04:00) using my MP3 player's voice record facility, and was amazed when I listened to it at the number of details that I had recorded and since completely forgotten. It's really amazing, because I never realised that I would forget so much. This method seems to be the quickest and most convenient to me - but then, I'm a very slow writer.

Another method I used to use when I was very young (although not for the purposes of lucid dreaming, just because I liked my dreams) was to draw maps on paper of the layouts of the places that I had been in my dreams. I think a lot of those are probably still tucked away in my parents' attic actually.

This technique evolved somewhat as I got older with the advancement of PC's and game level editors, and I found myself creating some of my dream locations in first-person-shooter games such as Duke Nuken 3D and Blood. This method takes a lot of time though, and I often found that it took away from the dream itself, but some of my most inspired levels I created were based on dreams that I'd had.

      Anyone used any other methods?

Well, since I remember even the ones from when I was 3, I didn't really need a DJ for that. A good way to remember LDs is to make your LDs very exciting w/your Dream Control, or read a book!

Well, LD's are something that I'm still working on. But I agree that I can also remember a lot of dreams that I had when I was very young, definetely as young as two or three. I actually had the worst nightmare of my life at about age three (twice). I still remember it very well, and remember waking up screaming the house down and waking my parents up. It's actually the first dream I can recall in my life, but I can remember a lot of my positive dreams aswell. I generally don't have many nightmares at all.

I remember how when I was 3, I had to WILD to even fall asleep at night, & usually got about 8 hours of sleep... I mostly remember that I couldn't quite control the LDs back then, & I faced SP alot, but it never frightened me, even at 3....but sometimes, when I had nightmares, or I barfed at night, I would crawl into my parents bed.

I like the idea of drawing pictures. I'm into rubber stamps and scrapbooks, and was thinking about buying a few stamps for dream signs. I love looking back at old dreams I've had years ago. It's amazing how the same senarios play out now and years ago.
