      Lucid Troubles

I was not quite sure where to post this so I will post it here and assume a monitor will move it to the correct place at a later time. Just for background, I had my first lucid dream a little over a month ago and before yesterday morning had had 14 Lucid dreams and ~8 semi-lucids. I had been in a bit of a slump, but yesterday in my last cycle before I woke up I had a false awakening that I got lucid in, and proceeded to have (at least) 5 FAs after that. I woke up from a nap about an hour ago and in that had a lucid dream followed by 4 FAs. I do not have a problem with FAs, but I am having trouble with my actual lucidity. Yesterday I found that I could not talk in my dream, which was a bit troublesome because I am accustomed to using verbal commands in my dreams. During that nap today I could talk, but I did not have vision in my left eye for the last 2. I was able to demand it and I got it the first time, but the second time it remained 'closed.' I have yet to have a very long lucid dream (one of the FAs today probably lasted ~3 minutes which is the longest fully lucid one yet). I do not know if this is a problem with stabilization or grounding myself or what, and they haven't been quite all that vivid. I was just wondering what sort of advice I would get here. Thanks for your time!

It could be a problem with stabilization, yes. I'm not exactly an expert on control in dreams to be honest When you have lack of vision (or partial lack of vision), I think it's best to focus on attaining sight rather than opening the eyes. In a dream it is possible to close your eyes a thousand times and recreate vision without opening them, this can also be used for teleportation (if you have sufficient dream control ofcourse). As for not being able to talk, I'm not sure. Perhaps it is enough to realize that your thoughts can be used as a way of communicating in dreams rather than talking (it is all in your head, so what is the difference really?). While thinking that don't focus too much on the face that it is in your head thought, just on the fact that thoughts can be used as speech in dreams, otherwise you might wake up.

I would not like to ask for your age but if you are young 4-18 you have a period in your life where your peneal glands grow.
It is a theory, may not be fact deduced from the book DMT : Spirit molecule. Should be the bibal for this website.
Well these peneal glands release a chemical DMT which allows you to dream and to evaluate your life before death.
Now when these peneal glands grow you produce more DMT at this time, hense more dreams.
When I was 7 I would have around 2 extremely vivid nightmares everynight, I could become lucid, but when your in the
situation - very scary- and young age it can be too much. If I knew about the lucid dreaming I can take control It would probably become
      a nice dream.
