Aware of a 'false reality' while LDing?

The other day I had my first LD. One thing I noticed which seemed odd that I have not seen anyone mention is that I seemed to be 'aware' of my body back in my bed... except that was an illusion too.

      1) I was hearing clear music the entire time, mainly Radiohead. I imagined myself wearing headphones in my bed as I was dreaming, though I definitely was not.

      2) As I was flying through the air I gripped my 'bed,' throwing my arms around it so I wouldn't be launched off of it and into oblivion -- it was very fun in a scary sort of way. I could actually see myself doing this, as if with a split awareness -- and the weird thing is that I didn't see myself gripping my real bed, but an old bunk bed I used to sleep on when I was young.

So I somehow thought I was aware of my body, but was actually not. I'm wondering if anybody has experienced this and if there is a way to simply let go and be 100% inside the dream. I also had a hard time visualizing the dreamscape. It was far easier to imagine my false body in bed than the landscape around me. Is that odd?

      Thanks for any help!

I think it's a usual occurring when transitioning into a lucid dream, when attempting a WILD, I also sometimes become aware of myself when I lucid dream because when you question reality you look for what's real and what's causing it.
      Sounds normal to me

Firstly, well done on your first lucid.

Secondly, I haven't experienced that before (seeing as I've not had a proper lucid before), but I have experienced times where I've known I would wake up if I simply lay back. Often this sort of thing would happen in a primary school dream where I'd be sitting on the floor with the rest of the class (I think it's a British thing), feeling uncomfortable, before I realised that my real body is lying on a comfy bed. I would then be able to simply lie back and feel my bed and either wake up, or transition to another dream.

Unfortunately, I don't have any advice, just thought I'd share my similar experience.
