      Had my 1st lucid!!

      So I had my 1st lucid!!! They do exist....They are very....strange/cool lol...if that makes sense. So heres a short version of how it went...

      I somehow become lucid....I fall to the ground as the dream is feels like its falling apart...i rub my hands together and things seemed to stabilize, I try walking and fell a few times....I then try running to jump off my couch through the window but instead hit the window and fell back down lol....so then I want to leave to another scene so i open up my bathroom door hoping that my fav burger joint be on the other side but..on the other side was...just my bathroom...lol I turn around and see some sort of monster...i was not expecting it so I got scared and woke up haha ...next time I am not going to try to do anything to crazy at 1st...just be chill and observe my sorrounding..maybe ill try talking next time....has anyone else had an issue with walking at 1st??.

      No, in my first lucid i had no prob walking... maybe you were so excited that the basics of motor skills... escaped you, first lucids are always the stupidest/weirdest, i had a lucid about buying a milkshake from maccas... lol.

      Congratulations on your first. Personally I've never had problem walking.

      ShadowOfSelf that is true, just don't think about walking, glide on!!! Now that I think about it, I haven't ever in a LD, thought about my walking. In the part where you said: "hoping that my fav burger joint be on the other side". The thing is that, you must believe something you're hoping for is behind the door. (Also I haven't been able to change the dream scene myself ) But still, that was one great first LD.
      Lucid dreaming since September 2011!!!
      Lucid goals: Jumping out of a car going at high speed and crashing into an oncoming car, completely destroying the car, leaving me unharmed. [ ],
      Visiting moon [x], Proper flying [x], Stabilizing an LD perfectly [x], Shoot lightning/lasers out of my fingers [x], Shapeshifting [ ], Fly a helicopter [ ], TOTY 2013 [ ], Change dreamscene [x].
      Lucids: 16 crappy, 15 good, 5 awesome.

      Yeah Finlander is right with belief over hope. In a recent lucid I just said to myself "Lara Croft is behind this door", then proceeded to have my most epic duel so far, with Lara Croft.

      Congratulations! Things can be a bit disorienting when you first become lucid. Sometimes it can be hard to control your body. With a bit more practice, you should become more comfortable with the state of mind.
