      some questions from a newbie

hi, my name is ricardo, im from brazil..
i started my quest for Lucid Dream a few days ago, and even with a lot of reading about i still have some questions..

u know, always when i wake up, the only thing i remember about a dream is the last scene, and is always not clear at all.. is that normal? i keep using self-suggestion mettods to have a lucid dream or even to remember then, but it seems not working at all.. someone has any type?

oh, and i have readed about the binaural beats... does it really works?
and, to have a lucid dream, do you have to lie down with face up, as we do to induce an SP?

one more.. i was wondering, the dream world is like an entire world created by our subconscious, is that right? as long i didnt get clear the subsection PERSONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPLRATION, it is possible, in this subconscious world, to explore and change somethings about me, about my way of acting or thinking in the wake world?

and one last thing.. it is possible to some people never have a lucid dream, or an SP?
well, with another frustrated night,i guess i will try again (:

im sorry about my english, Brazilian edutation is not the best ):
      thank you for attention

      Hey Ricardo

the only thing i remember about a dream is the last scene, and is always not clear at all.. is that normal?
Yes, that is normal. A lot of people start off that way, but your dream recall can be improved by using a dream journal. Try not to move around a lot when you first wake up, lie for a little while thinking over your dreams.

i keep using self-suggestion mettods to have a lucid dream or even to remember then, but it seems not working at all.. someone has any type?
      What exactly is your mantra?

to have a lucid dream, do you have to lie down with face up, as we do to induce an SP?
It doesn't matter, you can lie any way you like. Some people like lying on their sides or back, I prefer my stomach.
i was wondering, the dream world is like an entire world created by our subconscious, is that right? as long i didnt get clear the subsection PERSONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPLRATION, it is possible, in this subconscious world, to explore and change somethings about me, about my way of acting or thinking in the wake world?
Yes, you can. You change in the waking world through thoughts, habit and experience, and all of this you do consciously. When you are lucid dreaming, you are also conscious, even though you are not awake. It's been shown that the movements in your lucid dreams cause your brain to fire the same signals as if you were doing it in real life, although you're paralyzed so obviously you don't actually move. It is the same with your heart and breathing rate. A lot of people ask the question; if reality is perception, does that mean lucids are real? It's up to you to decide.

Some people use lucid dreaming to face their fears. I remember hearing about a tribe in Africa who were encouraged to seek out their greatest fears in lucid dreams and get over them.

it is possible to some people never have a lucid dream, or an SP?
I'm pretty sure that everyone can lucid dream, it's just that some find it easier than others. Don't worry, you'll get there eventually

      thanks for the help (:

by the way, my mantra, literally translating, is ''i will have a lucid dream and remember it''

what about the binaural beats, have you ever tried them or heard about them?

Ah, that's a good mantra. Try visualising becoming lucid as well. However, I noticed you said you started a few days ago. Please be patient, it takes a bit of time.

I've never used binaural beats, sorry.

I have tried binaural beats a couple of times, they work best if you listen to them just before you go to sleep. As you can see from my ld count, I haven't had any either, so your not on your own. But the binaural beats did help to make my dreams much more vivid, I remembered 5 dreams the night I listened to them and some of them were very vivid. There are many techniques you can use, wilding is not the only one! also if you are wanting to increase the chances of having ld's I would suggest doing reality checks regularly. From what I've heard, this technique is how a lot of the experienced lders get all there lucid dreams.
