Maintain Lucidity

I've heard about dream spinning, yes, but what are YOUR methods to maintain, or even prolong lucidity? What do you do in a dream right as you become lucid so you don't lose it? Feel free to share your experiences!

I tried spinning but it actually made me brown out and I woke up. Looking at my hands, shouting MORE LUCIDITY helps, but the number 1 best for me is looking at my reflection in a mirror. But the mirror thing only works if you can also summon a mirror, or any helpful prop, without trouble.
